in 2020 we had the opportunity to take our MINIATURE HORSES to the Louisa Elementary Schools for kids in their SPED programs. Later that year we developed our PONY HUGS program to visit children who are homebound with serious or terminal illnesses. We bring cheer and leave a plush pony as a reminder of our visit and a source of continuing comfort, and a reminder that we are praying for them and their families!
We plan to continue bringing our ponies with their portable corral to the schools for enrichment opportunities for the SPED kids!
Thanks to a grant from Rappahannock Electric Cooperative's Power of Change Program, we leave a Plushie Pony with each child we visit at home.
